PROCLAMATION: WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA DAY 2025
Wallingford is honored to be the only Connecticut stop on this year's convoy, offering our community a unique opportunity to participate in this meaningful tribute. The convoy will include 15 tractor-trailers, Gold and Blue Star families, military veterans, Patriot Guard Riders, and Wreaths Across America founders Morrill and Karen Worcester, all united in honoring our nation's heroes.
On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, the Parade of Wreaths will travel through Wallingford, topping at Town Hall, where the Town, in partnership with local and state dignitaries, veterans groups, first responders, and community organizations, will welcome the convoy, participate in a ceremonial wreath laying at the Town Hall monuments, and host a Community Remembrance Ceremony at 1:00 p.m.
Mayor Cervoni has proclaimed December 9, 2025 as 'Wreaths Across America Day' and encourages all residents to join in this public event to support the mission of Wreaths Across America and pay tribute to our military and veterans.
